Carers Manchester - Contact Point

Carers Manchester Contact PointCarers Manchester Contact Point is a ‘first point of contact’ service that offers tailored support and advice to all unpaid carers aged 18+ in the Manchester City Council area.

Unpaid adult carers in Manchester are able access the Contact Point for information, advice and support for a range of issues with just a phone call, email or click of the mouse. Trained advice workers are able to answer your queries or direct you to the relevant service. No question is too big or too small.

We can help with a range of issues including:

  • Benefits and financial advice
  • Bereavement support
  • Employment advice
  • Your rights as a carer
  • Older carers
  • Support for parent carers

We offer a safe space to talk about and discuss your caring role, and will be able to signpost you to community services should you need them, or make a referral for ongoing support.

Our Contact Point phone line – 0161 543 8000, is open Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm.
