Tina, a full-time parent/carer, joined our Employcare programme in November 2025, bringing decades of experience from the legal and third sectors. Highly determined and ambitious, Tina had several goals which she set out over the course of her first two sessions with our employment coach.
The employment coach and Tina then worked together to set the foundations for Tina’s personal practice of SEND family support within the Rochdale area. Now actively completing specialist organisation IPSEA’s legal training modules, Tina will utilise this knowledge and her existing skills to offer families 1:1 engagement surrounding SEND educational options, EHCPs, disability awareness, local authority support and parent/carers’ legal rights.

Supplementing this, Tina is undertaking a Level 4 Counselling diploma at UCEN and is set to secure student placements within statutory and VCSE organisations. This valuable practice experience will grow Tina’s aptitude at frontline engagement with individuals in need.
