DESCRIPTION:Together Dementia Support have teamed up with Greater Manchester Walking Grants to host a series of Winter Walks across Manchester and beyond. \nGet outdoors\, see some picturesque sights\, and make friends with other carers as we go for a series of short or more challenging walks in local beauty spots. \nYou may have to wrap up warm\, but it will be a fantastic opportunity to make new connections while getting some gentle exercise and seeing places you may never have been before. \nMeet Jo at at the café in Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens. DESCRIPTION:Join Stepping Out with The Ramblers\, Gaddum Carers Salford\, Bury Carers\, Manchester Carers Forum and Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre for a carers walk at Fletcher Moss\, Millgate Lane Didsbury\, Manchester M20 2SW. \nThe walk will be on Tuesday 21 September at 11am (a light lunch of a sandwich and tea/coffee is included.) Manchester Carers Forum will be there to listen or offer advice if you need to talk. \nThere will be an option of a short walk (approximately 1 mile) and a longer walk (approximately 3 miles). \nPlease note COVID-19 safety precautions will apply.
