DESCRIPTION:Join Manchester Parent Carer Forum for free flu jabs and blood pressure checks to parent carers of people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). \nWell Pharmacy will be visiting Martenscroft Sure Start Centre with their mobile health clinics. \nThe van contains two consultation rooms staffed by a pharmacist who is a fellow Manchester parent-carer. \n* If you are the full-time carer for someone\, it is advised that you take advantage of the free flu jab to protect both yourself and the person you care for. If you catch the flu and become too ill to leave home\, it may be more difficult or impossible for you to continue looking after the person you care for.

DESCRIPTION:Join The 2022 Festival of Social Science for a special event on the law and dementia. In collaboration with the University of Manchester’s Justice Hub\, Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU)\, and GM Law Centre (GMLC)\, this event will seek to provide positive legal help and guidance to carers\, as well as provide a social opportunity for carers of people living with dementia to meet and share their experiences. \nThe event will be situated in the heart of Manchester’s local community at GMLC’s premises in Levenshulme.
