DESCRIPTION:Together Dementia Support have teamed up with Greater Manchester Walking Grants to host a series of Winter Walks across Manchester and beyond. \nGet outdoors\, see some picturesque sights\, and make friends with other carers as we go for a series of short or more challenging walks in local beauty spots. \nYou may have to wrap up warm\, but it will be a fantastic opportunity to make new connections while getting some gentle exercise and seeing places you may never have been before. \nMeet their Dementia Group Leader at the bench by the duck pond\, opposite the Pavilion Café. DESCRIPTION:Join Together Dementia Support for their monthly Dementia Café on the third Wednesday of every month at Minehead Court Community Café\, Old Moat M20 1NG from 1.30pm – 3.30pm. \nIt’s an opportunity for carers of people living with Dementia to socialise and share experiences over a cup of tea or coffee. Admiral Nurses will be available for advice. \nTheir volunteers will also run activities for the people living with Dementia so you can join the carers’ chat while they make new friends.
