DESCRIPTION:In this Welfare Rights for Carers workshop we outline the main benefits available to carers\, and to the person you care for. \nThis includes information on eligibility criteria\, how to claim and important key points about each benefit. We will also send out our Benefits for Carers booklet which includes all the information included in the workshop. \nOnce you sign up we will send you a confirmation email with further details about the venue. \nA lunch will be provided for those who attend and travel expenses will be covered. A follow call will be made to help field any questions you might have in advance of the event. And would you like to learn about the benefits of music on your wellbeing? \nCarers Manchester South are offering carers the chance to take part in a Drumming Circle with Zsuzsa Foldes\, a music therapist. This is what some carers thought about previous sessions: \n“I was feeling a bit low with all the stress but as always it raised my spirits and I left feeling much better” \n“Brilliant drums. On my Christmas list. Hopefully someone will buy me a drum. I felt so relaxed when I got home.
