DESCRIPTION:Do you enjoy listening to\, playing music? Would you like to be part of a group creating rhythmic\, dynamic and fun music? And would you like to learn about the benefits of music on your wellbeing? \nCarers Manchester South are offering carers the chance to take part in a Drumming Circle with Zsuzsa Foldes\, a Music Therapist\, followed by some yummy tea and cake and a natter with other carers. This is what some carers thought about previous sessions: \n“It gave a sense of pride and joy making a good beat together\, experimenting with different instrument including our voices.  I felt a bit of my inner child come out which was great. Can’t wait for the next one.” \n“It was an amazing session\, I loved creating the sounds to the rhythm and I felt free. My voice was stronger and carried me into myself and out. People were lovely and full of compassion such environment brings the best out of me.” \n“Thank you for fabulous Drumming Session. DESCRIPTION:Join Together Dementia Support for their monthly Dementia Café on the last Wednesday of every month at St Andrews Methodist Church\, M22 0DW from 1.30pm – 3.30pm. \nIt’s an opportunity for carers of people living with Dementia to socialise and share experiences over a cup of tea or coffee. Admiral Nurses will be available for advice. \nTheir volunteers will also run activities for the people living with Dementia so you can join the carers’ chat while they make new friends.
