DESCRIPTION:Every Monday as part of the Lifted’s Women of Wythenshawe Project\, our WOW Leaders are making a hot meal for those who want to come join us at the Lifted’s drop in session. \nWe know this time of year it’s cold and people are struggling between eating and putting the heating on\, the WOW leaders want to help ease this worry by opening the Lifted’s door to those who want a warm place to be and have something to eat and chat with the #LiftedFamily for a few hours. \nFood will be available from 1pm for those who wish to join us. We are catering to 25 people each week\, but have room to expand with demand. \nMeals that we are offering will range from soup and a roll\, stew to  rice puddings. \nWe would also like to know what you would like the WOW leaders to make each week. \nIf you require a vegetarian meal\, please let us know and we can cater for you. DESCRIPTION:Join the 26-piece Hallé ensemble for the chance to listen to popular\, classical music in a relaxed and informal way.\n\nThere are none of the usual rules associated with classical concerts – audience members are free to move around\, talk and clap whenever they wish. There is also the chance to interact with Hallé players at the end of the concert and ask them questions. The music is often a mixture of more conventional classical pieces but also arrangements of popular classics\, with the ultimate aim of providing a stepping stone to attending Hallé concerts at the Bridgewater Hall.\n\n\nConcerts take place at Hallé St Peter’s at either 12pm or 2.30pm\nConcerts last approximately 1 hour \nAll tickets are £3\n\n\nThese concerts are particularly suited to those living with dementia and other similar health conditions\, adults & children with additional learning needs\, their carers or anybody who wishes to experience classical music in a relaxed and informal environment. \nClick here to book \n

Join Gaddum for this free eight week course.  \nAnyone can benefit from mindfulness\, however the course isn’t suitable for you if you are severely depressed or experiencing significant upheaval of any kind e.g. breavement\, or drugs/alcohol abuse. DESCRIPTION:Join Together Dementia Support for their monthly Dementia Café on the third Wednesday of every month at Oaklands\, 8 Wilbraham Road\, Fallowfield M14 6JZ from 1.30pm – 3.30pm. \nIt’s an opportunity for carers of people living with Dementia to socialise and share experiences over a cup of tea or coffee.
